Sūrah 97
al-Qadr
The Decree · 5 verses
Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥeem
- 1Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decreeإِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
- 2And what can make you know what is the Night of Decreeوَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
- 3The Night of Decree is better than a thousand monthsلَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ
- 4The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matterتَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ
- 5Peace it is until the emergence of dawnسَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
