Translations used
Quran: Saheeh International (1997, 2004 — Abul-Qasim Publishing House / Al-Muntada Al-Islami), the Saudi-sanctioned mainstream Sunni translation. Using a Muslim-authored, Muslim-sanctioned edition removes the easy dismissal of "hostile translation."
Hadith collections: widely published English translations distributed by mainstream Islamic publishers. The underlying Arabic texts are the same as those Sunnī jurisprudence itself treats as canonical.
