Sūrah 82
al-Infiṭār
The Cleaving · 19 verses
Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥeem
- 1When the sky breaks apartإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ
- 2And when the stars fall, scatteringوَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ
- 3And when the seas are eruptedوَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ
- 4And when the [contents of] graves are scatteredوَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ
- 5A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept backعَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ
- 6O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generousيَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ
- 7Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced youٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
- 8In whatever form He willed has He assembled youفِيٓ أَيِّ صُورَةٖ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ
- 9No! But you deny the Recompenseكَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ
- 10And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepersوَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ
- 11Noble and recordingكِرَامٗا كَٰتِبِينَ
- 12They know whatever you doيَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ
- 13Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasureإِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٖ
- 14And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfireوَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٖ
- 15They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompenseيَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ
- 16And never therefrom will they be absentوَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ
- 17And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompenseوَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
- 18Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompenseثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
- 19It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allāhيَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٞ لِّنَفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلَّهِ
