Sūrah 55

ar-Raḥmān

The Most Merciful · 78 verses
Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥeem
  1. 1The Most Mercifulٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
  2. 2Taught the Qur'anعَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
  3. 3Created manخَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
  4. 4[And] taught him eloquenceعَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ
  5. 5The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculationٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ
  6. 6And the stars and trees prostrateوَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ
  7. 7And the heaven He raised and imposed the balanceوَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
  8. 8That you not transgress within the balanceأَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ
  9. 9And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balanceوَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
  10. 10And the earth He laid [out] for the creaturesوَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ
  11. 11Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ
  12. 12And grain having husks and scented plantsوَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ
  13. 13So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  14. 14He created man from clay like [that of] potteryخَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ
  15. 15And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fireوَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ
  16. 16So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  17. 17[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsetsرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ
  18. 18So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  19. 19He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ
  20. 20Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgressesبَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٞ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ
  21. 21So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  22. 22From both of them emerge pearl and coralيَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
  23. 23So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  24. 24And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountainsوَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ
  25. 25So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  26. 26Everyone upon the earth will perishكُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانٖ
  27. 27And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honorوَيَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
  28. 28So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  29. 29Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matterيَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأۡنٖ
  30. 30So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  31. 31We will attend to you, O prominent beingsسَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
  32. 32So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  33. 33O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allāh]يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
  34. 34So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  35. 35There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselvesيُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
  36. 36So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  37. 37And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oilفَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةٗ كَٱلدِّهَانِ
  38. 38So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  39. 39Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinnفَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
  40. 40So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  41. 41The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feetيُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ
  42. 42So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  43. 43This is Hell, which the criminals denyهَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
  44. 44They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ
  45. 45So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  46. 46But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardensوَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
  47. 47So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  48. 48Having [spreading] branchesذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ
  49. 49So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  50. 50In both of them are two springs, flowingفِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ
  51. 51So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  52. 52In both of them are of every fruit, two kindsفِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ
  53. 53So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  54. 54[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging lowمُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ
  55. 55So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  56. 56In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinniفِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
  57. 57So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  58. 58As if they were rubies and coralكَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
  59. 59So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  60. 60Is the reward for good [anything] but goodهَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ
  61. 61So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  62. 62And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardensوَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
  63. 63So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  64. 64Dark green [in color]مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ
  65. 65So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  66. 66In both of them are two springs, spoutingفِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
  67. 67So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  68. 68In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranatesفِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخۡلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ
  69. 69So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  70. 70In them are good and beautiful womenفِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ
  71. 71So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  72. 72Fair ones reserved in pavilionsحُورٞ مَّقۡصُورَٰتٞ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ
  73. 73So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  74. 74Untouched before them by man or jinniلَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
  75. 75So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  76. 76Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpetsمُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٖ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ
  77. 77So which of the favors of your Lord would you denyفَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
  78. 78Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honorتَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
