Read the sources
Two libraries plus two interlinear resources. The primary Islamic corpus this project analyses, and the external works — classical commentary, comparative scripture, and modern scholarship — referenced throughout the entries. The interlinear resources give the Quran and the Bible word by word in their original Arabic, Hebrew, and Greek, with roots, morphology, and English glosses.
Islamic Sources
The full Saheeh International Quran and the six canonical Sunni hadith collections — Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, and Ibn Majah. Every entry in the catalog cites one of these.
External Sources
Comparative Jewish and Christian scripture cited throughout the catalog — the Hebrew Bible, New Testament, apocryphal infancy gospels, 1 Enoch, the Mishnah, the Babylonian Talmud, and Josephus. Classical Islamic works and modern Western scholarship are cited in the entries but not rehosted here.
