Sūrah 77

al-Mursalāt

Those Sent Forth · 50 verses
Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥeem
  1. 1By those [winds] sent forth in gustsوَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفٗا
  2. 2And the winds that blow violentlyفَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصۡفٗا
  3. 3And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشۡرٗا
  4. 4And those [angels] who bring criterionفَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرۡقٗا
  5. 5And those [angels] who deliver a messageفَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا
  6. 6As justification or warningعُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا
  7. 7Indeed, what you are promised is to occurإِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٞ
  8. 8So when the stars are obliteratedفَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ
  9. 9And when the heaven is openedوَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡ
  10. 10And when the mountains are blown awayوَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ
  11. 11And when the messengers' time has comeوَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ
  12. 12For what Day was it postponedلِأَيِّ يَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ
  13. 13For the Day of Judgementلِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
  14. 14And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgementوَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
  15. 15Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  16. 16Did We not destroy the former peoplesأَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
  17. 17Then We will follow them with the later onesثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
  18. 18Thus do We deal with the criminalsكَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
  19. 19Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  20. 20Did We not create you from a liquid disdainedأَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٖ مَّهِينٖ
  21. 21And We placed it in a firm lodgingفَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ فِي قَرَارٖ مَّكِينٍ
  22. 22For a known extentإِلَىٰ قَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ
  23. 23And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determineفَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَٰدِرُونَ
  24. 24Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  25. 25Have We not made the earth a containerأَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا
  26. 26Of the living and the deadأَحۡيَآءٗ وَأَمۡوَٰتٗا
  27. 27And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet waterوَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتٖ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءٗ فُرَاتٗا
  28. 28Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  29. 29[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to denyٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
  30. 30Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columnsٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلّٖ ذِي ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٖ
  31. 31[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flameلَّا ظَلِيلٖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
  32. 32Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortressإِنَّهَا تَرۡمِي بِشَرَرٖ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ
  33. 33As if they were yellowish [black] camelsكَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٞ صُفۡرٞ
  34. 34Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  35. 35This is a Day they will not speakهَٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
  36. 36Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuseوَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ
  37. 37Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  38. 38This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoplesهَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
  39. 39So if you have a plan, then plan against Meفَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدٞ فَكِيدُونِ
  40. 40Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  41. 41Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springsإِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلٖ وَعُيُونٖ
  42. 42And fruits from whatever they desireوَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ
  43. 43[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to doكُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
  44. 44Indeed, We thus reward the doers of goodإِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
  45. 45Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  46. 46[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminalsكُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ
  47. 47Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  48. 48And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bowوَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ
  49. 49Woe, that Day, to the deniersوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
  50. 50Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believeفَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
