Surah 107 — Al-Maa'un

1. 1أَرَءَيْتَara-aytaHave you seenالَّذِيalladhīthe one whoيُكَذِّبُyukadhibudeniesبِالدِّينِbil-dīnithe Judgment
2. 2فَذَلِكَfadhālikaThen thatالَّذِيalladhī(is) the one whoيَدُعُّyaduʿʿurepulsesالْيَتِيمَl-yatīmathe orphan
3. 3وَلَاwalāAnd (does) notيَحُضُّyaḥuḍḍufeel the urgeعَلَىʿalātoطَعَامِṭaʿāmifeedالْمِسْكِينِl-mis'kīnithe poor
4. 4فَوَيْلٌfawaylunSo woeلِلْمُصَلِّينَlil'muṣallīnato those who pray
5. 5الَّذِينَalladhīnaThose whoهُمْhum[they]عَنْʿanofصَلَاتِهِمْṣalātihimtheir prayersسَاهُونَsāhūna(are) neglectful
6. 6الَّذِينَalladhīnaThose whoهُمْhum[they]يُرَاءُونَyurāūnamake show
7. 7وَيَمْنَعُونَwayamnaʿūnaAnd they denyالْمَاعُونَl-māʿūna[the] small kindness
