Surah 103 — Al-Asr

  1. 1وَالْعَصْرِwal-ʿaṣriBy the time
  2. 2إِنَّinnaIndeedالْإِنْسَانَl-insānamankindلَفِيlafī(is) surely inخُسْرٍkhus'rinloss
  3. 3إِلَّاillāExceptالَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoءَامَنُواāmanūbelieveوَعَمِلُواwaʿamilūand doالصَّالِحَاتِl-ṣāliḥātirighteous deedsوَتَوَاصَوْاwatawāṣawand enjoin each otherبِالْحَقِّbil-ḥaqito the truthوَتَوَاصَوْاwatawāṣawand enjoin each otherبِالصَّبْرِbil-ṣabrito [the] patience
