Surah 97 — Al-Qadr

  1. 1إِنَّاinnāIndeed Weأَنْزَلْنَاهُanzalnāhurevealed itفِيfīinلَيْلَةِlaylati(the) Nightالْقَدْرِl-qadri(of) Power
  2. 2وَمَاwamāAnd whatأَدْرَاكَadrākacan make you knowمَاmāwhatلَيْلَةُlaylatu(the) Nightالْقَدْرِl-qadri(of) Power (is)
  3. 3لَيْلَةُlaylatu(The) Nightالْقَدْرِl-qadri(of) Powerخَيْرٌkhayrun(is) betterمِنْminthanأَلْفِalfia thousandشَهْرٍshahrinmonth(s)
  4. 4تَنَزَّلُtanazzaluDescendالْمَلَائِكَةُl-malāikatuthe Angelsوَالرُّوحُwal-rūḥuand the Spiritفِيهَاfīhāthereinبِإِذْنِbi-idh'niby (the) permissionرَبِّهِمْrabbihim(of) their Lordمِنْminforكُلِّkullieveryأَمْرٍamrinaffair
  5. 5سَلَامٌsalāmunPeaceهِيَhiyait (is)حَتَّىḥattāuntilمَطْلَعِmaṭlaʿi(the) emergenceالْفَجْرِl-fajri(of) the dawn
