بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Surah 67 — Al-Mulk

  1. 1تَبَارَكَtabārakaBlessed isالَّذِيalladhīHeبِيَدِهِbiyadihiin Whose Handالْمُلْكُl-mul'ku(is) the Dominionوَهُوَwahuwaand Heعَلَىʿalā(is) overكُلِّkullieveryشَيْءٍshayinthingقَدِيرٌqadīrunAll-Powerful
  2. 2الَّذِيalladhīThe One Whoخَلَقَkhalaqacreatedالْمَوْتَl-mawtadeathوَالْحَيَوةَwal-ḥayataand lifeلِيَبْلُوَكُمْliyabluwakumthat He may test youأَيُّكُمْayyukumwhich of youأَحْسَنُaḥsanu(is) bestعَمَلًاʿamalan(in) deedوَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heالْعَزِيزُl-ʿazīzu(is) the All-Mightyالْغَفُورُl-ghafūruthe Oft-Forgiving
  3. 3الَّذِيalladhīThe One Whoخَلَقَkhalaqacreatedسَبْعَsabʿasevenسَمَاوَاتٍsamāwātinheavensطِبَاقًاṭibāqanone above anotherمَاNotتَرَىtarāyou seeفِيinخَلْقِkhalqi(the) creationالرَّحْمَنِl-raḥmāni(of) the Most Graciousمِنْminanyتَفَاوُتٍtafāwutinfaultفَارْجِعِfa-ir'jiʿiSo returnالْبَصَرَl-baṣarathe visionهَلْhalcanتَرَىtarāyou seeمِنْminanyفُطُورٍfuṭūrinflaw
  4. 4ثُمَّthummaThenارْجِعِir'jiʿireturnالْبَصَرَl-baṣarathe visionكَرَّتَيْنِkarrataynitwice againيَنْقَلِبْyanqalibWill returnإِلَيْكَilaykato youالْبَصَرُl-baṣaruthe visionخَاسِئًاkhāsi-anhumbledوَهُوَwahuwawhile itحَسِيرٌḥasīrun(is) fatigued
  5. 5وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyزَيَّنَّاzayyannāWe have beautifiedالسَّمَاءَl-samāathe heavenالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yānearestبِمَصَابِيحَbimaṣābīḥawith lampsوَجَعَلْنَاهَاwajaʿalnāhāand We have made themرُجُومًاrujūman(as) missilesلِلشَّيَاطِينِlilshayāṭīnifor the devilsوَأَعْتَدْنَاwa-aʿtadnāand We have preparedلَهُمْlahumfor themعَذَابَʿadhābapunishmentالسَّعِيرِl-saʿīri(of) the Blaze
  6. 6وَلِلَّذِينَwalilladhīnaAnd for those whoكَفَرُواkafarūdisbelievedبِرَبِّهِمْbirabbihimin their Lordعَذَابُʿadhābu(is the) punishmentجَهَنَّمَjahannama(of) Hellوَبِئْسَwabi'saand wretched isالْمَصِيرُl-maṣīruthe destination
  7. 7إِذَاidhāWhenأُلْقُواul'qūthey are thrownفِيهَاfīhāthereinسَمِعُواsamiʿūthey will hearلَهَاlahāfrom itشَهِيقًاshahīqanan inhalingوَهِيَwahiyawhile itتَفُورُtafūruboils up
  8. 8تَكَادُtakāduIt almostتَمَيَّزُtamayyazuburstsمِنَminawithالْغَيْظِl-ghayẓirageكُلَّمَاkullamāEvery timeأُلْقِيَul'qiyais thrownفِيهَاfīhāthereinفَوْجٌfawjuna groupسَأَلَهُمْsa-alahumwill ask themخَزَنَتُهَاkhazanatuhāits keepersأَلَمْalamDid notيَأْتِكُمْyatikumcome to youنَذِيرٌnadhīruna warner
  9. 9قَالُواqālūThey will sayبَلَىbalāYesقَدْqadindeedجَاءَنَاjāanācame to usنَذِيرٌnadhīruna warnerفَكَذَّبْنَاfakadhabnābut we deniedوَقُلْنَاwaqul'nāand we saidمَاNotنَزَّلَnazzalahas sent downاللَّهُl-lahuAllahمِنْminanyشَيْءٍshayinthingإِنْinNotأَنْتُمْantumyou (are)إِلَّاillābutفِيinضَلَالٍḍalālinerrorكَبِيرٍkabīringreat
  10. 10وَقَالُواwaqālūAnd they will sayلَوْlawIfكُنَّاkunnāwe hadنَسْمَعُnasmaʿulistenedأَوْaworنَعْقِلُnaʿqilureasonedمَاnotكُنَّاkunnāwe (would) have beenفِيamongأَصْحَابِaṣḥābi(the) companionsالسَّعِيرِl-saʿīri(of) the Blaze
  11. 11فَاعْتَرَفُواfa-iʿ'tarafūThen they (will) confessبِذَنْبِهِمْbidhanbihimtheir sinsفَسُحْقًاfasuḥ'qanso away withلِأَصْحَابِli-aṣḥābi(the) companionsالسَّعِيرِl-saʿīri(of) the Blaze
  12. 12إِنَّinnaIndeedالَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoيَخْشَوْنَyakhshawnafearرَبَّهُمْrabbahumtheir Lordبِالْغَيْبِbil-ghaybiunseenلَهُمْlahumfor themمَغْفِرَةٌmaghfiratun(is) forgivenessوَأَجْرٌwa-ajrunand a rewardكَبِيرٌkabīrungreat
  13. 13وَأَسِرُّواwa-asirrūAnd concealقَوْلَكُمْqawlakumyour speechأَوِawiorاجْهَرُواij'harūproclaimبِهِbihiitإِنَّهُinnahuIndeed Heعَلِيمٌʿalīmun(is the) All-Knowerبِذَاتِbidhātiof what (is in)الصُّدُورِl-ṣudūrithe breasts
  14. 14أَلَاalāDoes notيَعْلَمُyaʿlamuknowمَنْman(the One) WhoخَلَقَkhalaqacreatedوَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heاللَّطِيفُl-laṭīfu(is) the Subtleالْخَبِيرُl-khabīruthe All-Aware
  15. 15هُوَhuwaHeالَّذِيalladhī(is) the One Whoجَعَلَjaʿalamadeلَكُمُlakumufor youالْأَرْضَl-arḍathe earthذَلُولًاdhalūlansubservientفَامْشُواfa-im'shūso walkفِيinمَنَاكِبِهَاmanākibihā(the) paths thereofوَكُلُواwakulūand eatمِنْminofرِزْقِهِriz'qihiHis provisionوَإِلَيْهِwa-ilayhiand to Himالنُّشُورُl-nushūru(is) the Resurrection
  16. 16ءَأَمِنْتُمْa-amintumDo you feel secureمَنْman(from Him) Whoفِي(is) inالسَّمَاءِl-samāithe heavenأَنْannotيَخْسِفَyakhsifaHe will cause to swallowبِكُمُbikumuyouالْأَرْضَl-arḍathe earthفَإِذَاfa-idhāwhenهِيَhiyaitتَمُورُtamūrusways
  17. 17أَمْamOrأَمِنْتُمْamintumdo you feel secureمَنْman(from Him) Whoفِي(is) inالسَّمَاءِl-samāithe heavenأَنْannotيُرْسِلَyur'silaHe will sendعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumagainst youحَاصِبًاḥāṣibana storm of stonesفَسَتَعْلَمُونَfasataʿlamūnaThen you would knowكَيْفَkayfahowنَذِيرِnadhīri(was) My warning
  18. 18وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd indeedكَذَّبَkadhabadeniedالَّذِينَalladhīnathoseمِنْminfromقَبْلِهِمْqablihimbefore themفَكَيْفَfakayfaand howكَانَkānawasنَكِيرِnakīriMy rejection
  19. 19أَوَلَمْawalamDo notيَرَوْاyarawthey seeإِلَىilā[to]الطَّيْرِl-ṭayrithe birdsفَوْقَهُمْfawqahumabove themصَافَّاتٍṣāffātinspreading (their wings)وَيَقْبِضْنَwayaqbiḍ'naand foldingمَاNotيُمْسِكُهُنَّyum'sikuhunnaholds themإِلَّاillāexceptالرَّحْمَنُl-raḥmānuthe Most GraciousإِنَّهُinnahuIndeed Heبِكُلِّbikulli(is) of everyشَيْءٍshayinthingبَصِيرٌbaṣīrunAll-Seer
  20. 20أَمَّنْammanWho isهَذَاhādhāthisالَّذِيalladhīthe oneهُوَhuwaheجُنْدٌjundun(is) an armyلَكُمْlakumfor youيَنْصُرُكُمْyanṣurukumto help youمِنْminfromدُونِdūnibesidesالرَّحْمَنِl-raḥmānithe Most GraciousإِنِiniNotالْكَافِرُونَl-kāfirūna(are) the disbelieversإِلَّاillābutفِيinغُرُورٍghurūrindelusion
  21. 21أَمَّنْammanWho isهَذَاhādhāthisالَّذِيalladhīthe oneيَرْزُقُكُمْyarzuqukumto provide youإِنْinifأَمْسَكَamsakaHe withheldرِزْقَهُriz'qahuHis provisionبَلْbalNayلَجُّواlajjūthey persistفِيinعُتُوٍّʿutuwwinprideوَنُفُورٍwanufūrinand aversion
  22. 22أَفَمَنْafamanThen is he whoيَمْشِيyamshīwalksمُكِبًّاmukibbanfallenعَلَىʿalāonوَجْهِهِwajhihihis faceأَهْدَىahdābetter guidedأَمَّنْammanor (he) whoيَمْشِيyamshīwalksسَوِيًّاsawiyyanuprightعَلَىʿalāonصِرَاطٍṣirāṭin(the) Pathمُسْتَقِيمٍmus'taqīminStraight
  23. 23قُلْqulSayهُوَhuwaHeالَّذِيalladhī(is) the One Whoأَنْشَأَكُمْansha-akumproduced youوَجَعَلَwajaʿalaand madeلَكُمُlakumufor youالسَّمْعَl-samʿathe hearingوَالْأَبْصَارَwal-abṣāraand the visionوَالْأَفْئِدَةَwal-afidataand the feelingsقَلِيلًاqalīlanLittleمَا(is) whatتَشْكُرُونَtashkurūnayou give thanks
  24. 24قُلْqulSayهُوَhuwaHeالَّذِيalladhī(is) the One Whoذَرَأَكُمْdhara-akummultiplied youفِيinالْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthوَإِلَيْهِwa-ilayhiand to Himتُحْشَرُونَtuḥ'sharūnayou will be gathered
  25. 25وَيَقُولُونَwayaqūlūnaAnd they sayمَتَىmatāWhenهَذَاhādhā(is) thisالْوَعْدُl-waʿdupromiseإِنْinifكُنْتُمْkuntumyou areصَادِقِينَṣādiqīnatruthful
  26. 26قُلْqulSayإِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyالْعِلْمُl-ʿil'muthe knowledgeعِنْدَʿinda(is) withاللَّهِl-lahiAllahوَإِنَّمَاwa-innamāand onlyأَنَاanāI amنَذِيرٌnadhīruna warnerمُبِينٌmubīnunclear
  27. 27فَلَمَّاfalammāBut whenرَأَوْهُra-awhuthey (will) see itزُلْفَةًzul'fatanapproachingسِيئَتْsīat(will be) distressedوُجُوهُwujūhu(the) facesالَّذِينَalladhīna(of) those whoكَفَرُواkafarūdisbelievedوَقِيلَwaqīlaand it will be saidهَذَاhādhāThisالَّذِيalladhī(is) that whichكُنْتُمْkuntumyou used (to)بِهِbihifor itتَدَّعُونَtaddaʿūnacall
  28. 28قُلْqulSayأَرَءَيْتُمْara-aytumHave you seenإِنْinifأَهْلَكَنِيَahlakaniyadestroys meاللَّهُl-lahuAllahوَمَنْwamanand whoeverمَعِيَmaʿiya(is) with meأَوْaworرَحِمَنَاraḥimanāhas mercy upon usفَمَنْfamanthen whoيُجِيرُyujīru(can) protectالْكَافِرِينَl-kāfirīnathe disbelieversمِنْminfromعَذَابٍʿadhābina punishmentأَلِيمٍalīminpainful
  29. 29قُلْqulSayهُوَhuwaHeالرَّحْمَنُl-raḥmānu(is) the Most Gracious;ءَامَنَّاāmannāwe believeبِهِbihiin Himوَعَلَيْهِwaʿalayhiand upon Himتَوَكَّلْنَاtawakkalnāwe put (our) trustفَسَتَعْلَمُونَfasataʿlamūnaSo soon you will knowمَنْmanwhoهُوَhuwa(is) itفِي(that is) inضَلَالٍḍalālinerrorمُبِينٍmubīninclear
  30. 30قُلْqulSayأَرَءَيْتُمْara-aytumHave you seenإِنْinifأَصْبَحَaṣbaḥabecomesمَاؤُكُمْmāukumyour waterغَوْرًاghawransunkenفَمَنْfamanthen whoيَأْتِيكُمْyatīkumcould bring youبِمَاءٍbimāinwaterمَعِينٍmaʿīninflowing
